Dr. Leo Zulu is an associate professor in the Environmental Science and Ecology Program at Michigan State University. He has expertise in community-based natural resources management in rural Africa, deforestation, food security, and processes of land use and land cover change in Africa.

Dr. Sosten Chiotha is the Regional Director of the Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD) in Southern and Eastern Africa.

Dr. Allison Lassiter is an assistant professor in City and Regional Planning at the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design. She has expertise in freshwater systems and sustainable cities.

Dr. Brad G. Peter, assistant professor in the Department of Geosciences at the University of Arkansas, is an environmental remote sensing geographer who researches the intersection of ecological niche and agricultural system decisions.

David Stevens is a resilience expert centered on climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction ensuring alignment with development policies and programs, across Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Africa, mostly in LDCs and SIDS, working as lead expert with the United Nations Organization and Multi-lateral Development Banks.

Tristan Grupp is a recent graduate from the University of Pennsylvania in city and regional planning and urban spatial analysis. Tristan applies spatial data science to describe human-environmental systems and land cover change.
